Delivery Policy

Wicked Chefs Catering LLC — Delivery Policy

Effective Date: August 12, 2026

This Delivery Policy applies to catering orders delivered by Wicked Chefs LLC (“Wicked Chefs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Any signed proposal, invoice, contract, or written order confirmation may contain additional terms. If those terms conflict with this policy, the signed proposal or contract will control.

Delivery Area and Availability

Wicked Chefs provides catering delivery throughout West Palm Beach and may serve additional locations across South Florida based on availability, distance, event size, and venue requirements.

Delivery availability must be confirmed in writing. Submitting an inquiry or requesting a proposal does not reserve a delivery date or time.

Delivery Confirmation

An order is not scheduled for delivery until:

  • The menu, guest count, delivery address, and requested service time have been confirmed;
  • The client has accepted the applicable proposal or order confirmation; and
  • Any required deposit or payment has been received.

The client must provide accurate delivery information, including the complete address, venue name, suite or room number, gate code, parking instructions, loading-area information, and an on-site contact person.

Delivery Times

The confirmed proposal or order confirmation will identify the scheduled delivery date and estimated arrival window. Requested serving times and delivery arrival times are not necessarily the same, particularly when buffet or display setup is included.

We make every reasonable effort to arrive within the confirmed delivery window. However, traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, venue-access restrictions, security procedures, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect arrival times. When possible, we will notify the client or designated contact of a significant delay.

Arrival within the confirmed delivery window will be considered an on-time delivery.

Delivery Fees and Service Charges

Delivery fees and any applicable service charges will be disclosed in the client’s proposal or order confirmation. Charges may vary based on:

  • Delivery distance;
  • Order size and complexity;
  • Delivery date and time;
  • Staffing requirements;
  • Buffet or display setup;
  • Equipment, rentals, or disposable items;
  • Post-event equipment pickup; and
  • Parking, tolls, loading restrictions, or special venue requirements.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, delivery fees and service charges are not gratuities.

Standard Delivery and Setup

Standard delivery includes transporting the confirmed order to the designated accessible delivery location and transferring it to the client or authorized recipient.

Buffet setup, display setup, chafing dishes, Sternos, serving utensils, disposable plates, plasticware, napkins, staffing, rentals, breakdown, cleanup, and post-event pickup are included only when specifically listed in the client’s proposal or order confirmation.

The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue provides appropriate access, tables, preparation space, electrical access, and any other site requirements identified before the event.

Receiving the Delivery

A responsible client representative must be present and available during the confirmed arrival window. The representative should inspect the delivery for visible damage, missing items, and order accuracy before service begins.

Any suspected shortage, incorrect item, or delivery-related damage should be reported immediately by emailing chefsarini1@gmail.com. Photographs or other reasonable documentation may be requested. When a delivery error attributable to Wicked Chefs is verified, we will work promptly to provide an appropriate replacement, credit, or refund based on the circumstances and what is reasonably possible before the event.

Unattended or Unsuccessful Deliveries

Wicked Chefs will not leave perishable food unattended unless the client has provided prior written authorization and a safe delivery location has been confirmed.

If no authorized recipient is available, our team will make a reasonable attempt to contact the client. If delivery cannot be safely completed, the order may be returned to our facility. Additional waiting, storage, redelivery, or disposal charges may apply.

Orders that cannot be delivered because of an incorrect address, missing access information, venue restrictions, or the client’s failure to provide an available recipient may not qualify for a refund.

Changes to Delivery Information

Changes to the delivery address, date, arrival time, on-site contact, guest count, or venue instructions must be submitted as soon as possible. A requested change is not approved until Wicked Chefs confirms it in writing.

Changes may affect availability, pricing, staffing, food preparation, and delivery timing. We cannot guarantee last-minute or same-day changes.

Food Safety After Delivery

Wicked Chefs transports and delivers food using appropriate packaging and food-safety practices. Once a drop-off order has been accepted by the client or authorized recipient, the client is responsible for properly holding, serving, storing, and refrigerating the food.

Hot food should be kept hot, cold food should be kept refrigerated, and perishable food should not remain at room temperature for more than two hours—or more than one hour when the surrounding temperature is above 90°F.

When Wicked Chefs provides staffed food service, our team will manage the food during the contracted service period. Responsibility transfers to the client when the contracted service ends or our staff departs.

Wicked Chefs is not responsible for food quality or safety concerns caused by improper handling, delayed service, inadequate temperature control, contamination, or improper storage after responsibility has transferred to the client.

Allergies and Dietary Requirements

Food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed in writing before the menu and order are finalized. While we take reasonable precautions, our kitchen handles common allergens, and we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from cross-contact unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Equipment and Pickup

When Wicked Chefs provides chafing dishes, serving equipment, coolers, rentals, or other reusable property, the client is responsible for keeping those items secure and in good condition until the scheduled pickup.

Lost, damaged, discarded, or unavailable equipment may be charged to the client. Pickup timing and instructions will be included in the applicable proposal or order confirmation.

Cancellations and Refunds

Delivery cancellations, event cancellations, rescheduling requests, and refund eligibility are governed by the client’s signed proposal, contract, invoice, and any applicable cancellation or refund policy.

Because catering orders are customized and involve advance purchasing and preparation, prepared food and costs already incurred may be nonrefundable.
